The consequences of a break-up or divorce can have immediate and long term consequences. How you deal with these consequences affects your present and future relationships, be it a lover, spouse, friends or family. I believe the most important aspect in severing any relationship is the ability to forgive and be forgiven.
In the ARTICLE Judge Lowrance says, “The whole idea of losing another relationship carries with it potential for loosing faith in the sustainability of love. Breakups take a toll on us not just because of the loss of the person but because they rob our reserve of trust and faith in love.”
Forgiveness and letting go of anger, resentment, guilt or blame, is a healing process and can lead you down the path of healing and peace within your soul and prepare you to become a better partner in any future relationship.
